Happy Halloween

Tonite we went to a Halloween Party and dressed up as 'Thing One and Thing Two' from Dr. Seuss' "The Cat in the Hat". Aren't we the cutest 'things' you've ever seen?Of course we had to bring "Thing 3" along for the ride. So he got his own tag as well!

28 Week Ultra Sound

Today we had another Ultra Sound! My doctor didn't see everything he was looking for with our first Ultra Sound so today was our re-do. Luckily, since our last appointment my office got a new 3D Ultra Sound machine!! Everything looked great. He wasn't too interested in looking at the camera, but we got some pictures of his cute little face! At the beginning of my appointment he had his feet up past his head so they considered me transversed. But by the end of the appointment he had moved his feet back up to his new favorite place (my right rib cage!). They estimate that he is 2 lbs 6 oz, already. He is getting big!! We were lucky to get a few 3D images of our little guy and Monster's first videos! (Don't worry baby has all of his head though some images don't show it!).
It's still a boy!!

Above is a perfectly smooth head with a beautiful ear.
Here are little toes! He has a big space between his big toe and next toe, just like Daddy!

Check out the heartbeat at the end of this video.

Baby glances at the camera at the end of this video, it makes my heart jump everytime I see it!!

Here you can see his little mouth move.

This is adorable, he grimaces and moves his head away from the camera at the end of this video. I can't wait to kiss those chubby little cheeks!

Here are the Newmans. They are naming thier baby boy Jackson and they carved a "Jack-Jack" pumpkin from the Incredibles.

Here's Curt with his Scary Flame-Face Pumpkin.

Here is Shayla with what other than a Monster-Pumpkin. Here are both of my monsters!!

Here is Shannon with her Witch-Pumpkin.

Don't they all look so cute?!

Asay Bowl

This Wednesday was what I lovingly nicnamed "The Asay Bowl". Curttis and his brother Morgan coach West Lafayette Middle School's 8th grade Football team. While Carlos, Curt's Dad, coaches an 8th grade Football team on the other side of town. This Wednesday the two teams headed off. At half Wainwright was beating West Side 16-14. But the 2nd half was all the Red Devils and the younger Asay coaches (and players) prevailed winning "The Asay Bowl" 16-28. Its fun to sit on the opposite side from Carlos because you can still hear everything he is yelling to his players. Great job Asay Coaches!Curtis and Morgan after the game (Curtis is the one with khakis, red jacket, black hat and bowed legs- oh wait... the one on the left) The Asay coaches discussing the game after their handshakes at the end of the game.

Niagara Falls

We traveled up to Niagara Falls on our road trip and it was well worth the drive. We stayed on the Canadian side (the Canadians really got the best view). It was so much better than we pictured. We walked up and down along the Falls, went down tunnels to see behind the Falls and saw that Falls at night.
Okay so this night picture sucks, but it was really cool all lit up!

Sacred Grove

We spent hours walking the trails and sitting on benches inside the Sacred Grove. It was one of the most peaceful places I've ever been. It was a beautiful day and such a perfect, wonderful experience.

Palmyra Temple

While in Palmyra we stopped and saw the Temple. We didn't go in, but just toured the grounds. One thing we learned is that the temple is built on the Smith's property. It was so beautiful.

All of the temple windows were stain glass pictures of the Sacred Grove.

Hill Cumorah

Curtis and I took advantage of a long weekend and hit the open road for one last road trip before the baby comes. Our first stop was in Palmyra, NY at Hill Cumorah.
