Reading in private

This is where I found Dax reading (his Dad's book) today.
When I showed Dax this picture, he said "Oh, it's Curtis!" and pointed to himself.
Silly boy.

To Eternity and Beyond

Tonight we talked about the stars (because Dax was excited about them on his jammies), pretended to be astronauts and tried to explain Eternity to our 21 month old. Dax has no concept of time, yet, so it proved to be a little difficult to explain and understand. Although, Eternity is something so central and important to our little family. It is why we make the choices we do, why we act the way we do and why we have the family we have. Having an eternal family brings such peace and joy into our lives.

Rockwell preferred to sit in the bowl/helmet versus wearing it.
We are so grateful that we can all be together for ETERNITY, and are grateful it is longer than any of us can understand.

Baby Face

Some of the best baby faces of Rockwell's first month.
 We love you, baby face.

lil' Church Boy

Today was Rockwell's first day at church. We took him to church several weeks earlier than we did with Dax, but to be honest everything seemed to be easier post-delivery with Rockwell. I especially feel so much less worried about every little thing with Rockwell (ie: less worried about everyone at church breathing their germs on my newborn). So, to church we went and it was well worth the outing for us all!
