He might be a Redneck

One thing that I love about my husband is that he is happy-go-lucky. He is not high-maintenance he has a "make it work" kind of mentality. Maybe it is from being the 7th child, but I like to think it is mostly just who he is. I see so many similar characteristics in Dax's personality already. On the Fourth of July we had some Slip N' Slides at my parents house. Curtis used them more than anyone else. He would get a running start and see how fast and crazy he could get down them. He didn't even realize that his back and stomach were all scratched and bloody and that the water was freezing, he just kept on going.

Slip N' Sliding riding a Slip N' Slide.
Being dragged down the Slip N' Slide holding onto a rope.
And then he started to get brave. This was Curtis wearing a trash bag on his feet AND being dragged with the rope.
And this is Curtis getting clothes-lined by said rope by my Brother and future Brother-in-law.
The other night Curtis was out hitting his foam golf balls. Evidently, he got two stuck in the gutter and wanted to get them out so he could keep playing. Dax and I found him like this.
He drove his car through the back yard and used the kitchen broom to swat at them.
Dear Parents, for Christmas, please get Curtis a ladder.I like to think that Curtis is creative and not really a redneck, but standing on a car in the back yard and wearing trash bags down a Slip N' Slide make me question.
