This year Dax and Curtis went to their first ever Bug Bowl. I grew up going to the Bug Bowl, for obvious associations, but Curtis never had. I couldn't convince them into eating or spitting any bugs. But they visited the highlights.
Dax found an Entomologist to talk to, turns out he was pretty friendly.
He even let Dax cut all the huge lines and went behind the desks in the bug petting zoo. Dax threw the first cockroach once it started to move and then refused to touch anything else.
(Look how tight he has his hands pulled in!)
After throwing a hissy-fit because we said bye to Papa, we had to find Dax a balloon. He was equally impressed.
After the Bug Bowl we headed up to Purdue's Spring scrimmage (the Black & Gold Game). We even found a cousin at the game!
We had a great walk all over Purdue, there are definitely fun benefits of living so close to a great University!

The last photo caption should read: Only if our parents went to BYU, we would have a real team to cheer for.
