I grew up watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade every year. Dax enjoyed watching it with me this year. It really is pretty entertaining; he danced to the musicals, loved the Floats and was so excited seeing the bands.
For this first time, Purdue's Marching Band was in the parade. They actually lead the whole parade out- it was so exciting!
We saw Purdue's Drum, some Drummers and Baton twirlers (the Golden Girl and Silver Twins) at the mall the week before their big parade appearance. I took Dax up to see the BIG drum and thought he'd be thrilled with it. However, he was mostly interested in the twirlers- and their "sparkley" outfits. He kept trying to grab sparkles off of them..it was a little embarrassing.
Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade- a wonderful tradition!
