My first day home alone with both boys had both successes and failures. And so it goes with Motherhood, you take the good with the bad.
While I nursed Rockwell, Dax got into the Vaseline and smeared it all over his face, hands, clothes and my shoes (why my shoes? Oh, because he was hiding with it in my closet, he knew he wasn't supposed to be getting into it!).... Failure.
But just a few hours later, I got a nap while my boys were both asleep in their cribs for nap time. Ahh, sweet Success.
Because of the odd position Dax was sleeping in, he woke up with the embroidered star imprinted perfectly over his eye, he looked like a super hero!
This job is the greatest, the good and the bad.
